sipgate basic Help

Mitel 5215, 5220, 5224, 5235, 5320, 5330, 5340

The general settings to use with any SIP Compliant VoIP phone are described here.

The settings in the following images should help to configure your Mitel Phone with sipgate. 

You'll need your SIPID and SIP Password to set up your Mitel phone.

If you've problems with touch tones or IVR menus, please test with DTMF Type set to Outband.

 

Testing your Phone's Set Up:

To test your phone's configuration, please dial the following sipgate numbers:

  • 10000
  • 10005
  • 10020

If you have problems with registering online or making calls, please test with the STUN Server enable: stun.sipgate.net:3478 

 

Using Multiple Phones Behind the Same Router:

If there's more than one VoIP phone/device on the same local network, assigning each different local UDP ports will avoid port conflicts.

For each SIP Phone or device you add, increment the local ports used by 100.

Note:

The settings in this guide won't be regularly checked for accuracy and are based firmware version v6.  The layout of your settings may differ somewhat, but the general settings to use with sipgate won't change.
