This guide will help set up current Gigaset devices for use with sipgate basic. Example devices are N300AIP, C450IP, C470IP, S450IP, S675IP, S685IP, A580IP, S850A.
The configuration interface for Siemens/Gigaset devices that are not listed above won't differ greatly and this guide should still provide all necessary settings.
To configure your Gigaset phone you'll need your SIPID and SIP Password.
Following the instructions in the device manual, open your Gigaset's Web Configurator menu.
The default System PIN is 0000. We strongly recommend you change the System PIN from the default value.
Gigaset's Setup Wizard tool can be used for the initial setup of our service, however some of our recommended settings will require manual settings to be made.
Please select Settings -> Telephony -> Connections and click Edit to configure your sipgate connection.
Please click Show Advanced Settings and use the settings below.
If you use the configuration assistant, please choose No for the option Auto Configuration Code Available.
Please transfer the following settings (marked in red) to your phone:
Next please open the Advanced Settings menu and use the following settings:

If you have problems registering your Gigaset online or with making calls, test with the STUN Server enabled.
To enable STUN, open your Connection settings and under Network set STUN Enabled to Yes.
Using Multiple Phones Behind the Same Router:
If there's more than one VoIP phone/device on the same local network, assigning each different local UDP ports will avoid port conflicts.
For each SIP Phone or device you add, increment the local ports used by 100.
